Why Raven Herron & Company?

It was 2008 and I had recently relocated to Austin, Texas from Lincoln, England.  I was introduced to Raven through a friend and went to talk over with her the accounting procedures in the USA.  Raven was working on her own at the time and six months later she called me up and asked me if I would be interested in a job – the rest is history……..

Why me?

I know and understand what it takes to run your own company having ran our own for twenty years in England.   I love my job and strive to do the best I can for the clients, company and myself.  I want our clients to be treated as I want to be treated and have their best interest at heart.  I love to learn and haven’t finished yet! 

What makes me Capable?

I have worked in some form of accounting for the last forty years.  I have completed various accounting courses in England and since working with Raven I have become an Enrolled Agent (federal authorized tax practitioner).

About me

I love to hike! Weekends when I’m not at work we can be found walking around Lady Bird Lake (Town Lake) and brunch at The Omelettry.  England is where my heart is and I have two beautiful daughters that live there. I have a bucket list of hikes to do but so far I have managed to cross off the following: Coast to Coast in England, The Inca Trail (with altitude sickness), Big Bend and part of the French Pyrenees.
