Why Raven Herron & Company?

As someone who came into the field of accounting unconventionally, I wanted a place with an emphasis on growth and innovation. Raven Herron & Company provides a supportive environment, regular trainings, and tackles improvements to processes with a focus on providing the best service to our clients, as well as a positive work environment. Collaboration and teamwork are fostered from your first day, and you can feel how much the entire team cares about their clients and each other.

I am a driven individual, always seeking to improve and expand my knowledge. I am diligent and care about providing my best in all aspects.

What Makes Me Capable?

I have a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University – Shreveport, and I am currently pursuing my enrolled agent designation.  I began working in public accounting in 2017 and moved into tax preparation in 2021.  Since joining the RAH team in June 2024, I’ve seen my skills and knowledge grow leaps and bounds.  Throughout my career I have sought to support my team and my clients to the best of my abilities, but since joining RAH I have the confidence, knowledge, and resources to do so effectively.

About Me?

I am a life-long Louisiana resident, currently residing in Shreveport, LA. Most of my free time is spent with my husband and our two dogs, Einstein and Newton, as well as our families and friends. I absolutely love animals, and I volunteer at our local Humane Society whenever possible. I also enjoy baking bread and have a sourdough starter that has been alive since January of 2020. For those of you Great British Baking Show fans, its name is Paul.

I enjoy music, dancing, reading, traveling, and being outside.  I’ve recently started an unintentional vacation tradition where I find an old bookstore or library each trip, and I usually come home with yet another book!
