Why Raven Herron & Company?

I can’t lie – at first it was because my commute to work was going to be a whopping nine minutes. After a few weeks, though, it became about the team culture. People here care A LOT.

Why Me?

Raven Herron & Company came to me at just the right time. My attention to detail, my ability to have a conversation with a blank wall, and my time management skills make administration a natural fit for me. I like to make other people shine!

What makes me capable?

Armed with a liberal arts education from THE Ohio State University, I feel like I can do anything. As a matter of course, I have reinvented my career several times. After nearly two decades in teaching, I was ready for the next chapter. We are always the sum of our experience so I feel that I am uniquely able to wear several hats for Raven Team – everything from problem-solver (what do you mean the computer won’t turn on and the lesson starts in 1 minute?!), to hostess (LOTS of playdates), to crisis-manager (emergency dispatch can really teach you to breathe) –I am not afraid to engage with people face-to-face or on the phone. About me?

I am the person who always says, “Can I pet your dog?” So working in an office that has a four-legged mascot is the BEST thing. I feel that if Cooper and my two dogs met on the street, they would already know everything about each other due to the intense scrutiny I undergo every morning and evening. I also have a hilarious husband who makes my world spin, and two adult children who are finding out how awesome they are. I love walking, poking around in my flower beds, exploring the Hill Country, reading great literature, and writing screenplays that no one will ever read.
