Why Raven Herron & Company?

After several years with a large accounting firm, I witnessed firsthand the significant changes taking place across the industry, particularly with the growing role of technology. As I considered the next phase of my career, I wanted to join a firm where I could take a more hands-on approach and build meaningful, client-focused relationships. 

After meeting Raven and the team at Raven Herron & Company, I knew I had found the right fit. I was immediately impressed by the team’s depth of knowledge, genuine passion for their work, and commitment to providing exceptional care to every client. The firm’s collaborative culture and client-centered approach stood out to me and offered an experience I had been missing in a larger firm environment. Why me?

I am passionate about helping others and empowering clients with a clear understanding of accounting and taxation. I strive to make complex financial concepts approachable and easy to understand, providing clients with the knowledge and confidence they need to make informed financial decisions.   

What makes me capable?

I hold a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance from Oklahoma State University and bring more than eight years of experience in public accounting. I recently earned my Enrolled Agent (EA) designation, further strengthening my expertise in taxation and client advisory services. Prior to beginning my career in public accounting, I proudly served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps as an enlisted infantryman. My military service instilled in me a strong foundation of discipline, leadership, integrity, and dedication—qualities I carry into my professional career today. 

About me?

I grew up and spent much of my adult life in Oklahoma, where I developed a deep appreciation for community, adventure, and new experiences. I’m someone who believes in trying something at least once and embracing opportunities to step outside my comfort zone. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, discovering great food, and unwinding with a good Netflix binge.
