Why Raven Herron & Company?

It’s simple. I’m a good judge of character and people. Once I spoke with Raven, I knew I had to come work for her. It was evident she cares about her employees and clients, and I wanted to be a part of that.

Why me?

Accounting is my 2nd career. I worked for fourteen years in the healthcare industry. I capped out in healthcare and remained stagnant. So, I decided to go back to school for accounting. I always loved math, so it was a no brainer for me, and I haven’t looked back!

What makes me capable?

My bachelor’s degree is in Athletic Training. I worked as a Certified Athletic Trainer for orthopedic groups for fourteen years taking care of patients. This prepared me for the accounting field by giving me experience communicating with every age group. I obtained my Master’s in accounting while I was still working at a hospital in North Carolina. Once I graduated, I obtained a position in tax and loved it. I have been working in tax for two years now.

About me?

I love to spend time with my husband and daughter. We enjoy camping, hiking, and going to the beach together. I love to cook and bake. A crazy fact about me is I like to watch “Reality” TV.
