Why Raven Herron & Company?

Raven cares about her team. Before joining the firm, I spoke with Raven to get to know her, and I felt that her vision was what I wanted in a career. Her team will tell you without hesitation that they enjoy working with her.

Why Me?

I have a broad range of income tax experience in many different industries and situations. Many of my clients’ industries include real estate, oil and gas, manufacturing and distribution, and professional services. I also have a background in international tax, which is an area that can create headaches and harsh penalties if taxpayers are not careful.

The favorite part of my career is assisting a client reduce or defer their tax liabilities by using strategies other CPA firms may not understand. Some of those center around retirement plans during your working, pre-retirement, and post-retirement years. I can also help with businesses with international customers, R&D expenditures, and more.

What makes me Capable?

I’ve been in the tax world for 16 years. I graduated from Mississippi State University in 2004 and Louisiana State University in 2005. I received my CPA license originally from Louisiana in 2006, then I became licensed in Texas in 2018.

About me?

I’m originally from Louisiana, but I got to Texas as fast as I could. My wife and I have two children at home. I can often be found watching my daughter play softball somewhere, or I’m telling my son dad jokes while he shakes his head. I recently received my amateur radio license and enjoy making contacts around the country and world.
